I am an infectious disease modeller at the Quantative Veterinary Epidemiology group at Wageningen University & Research. My postdoc focuses mainly on modeling the force of infection and effectiveness of interventions at long-term care facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
My PhD project concerns the integration of backward- and forward-looking decision making in temporally uncertain environments under the supervision of dr. Federica Angeli, dr. John Bechara, and dr. Daniela Blettner. In this project we study how decision makers adapt organizational aspirations and behavior in response to performance expectations. Most of these projects focus on organizational performance feedback and behavioral strategy.
I am also interested in outbreak epidemiology, where I apply insights from behavioral theory to policy decisions in the context of public health and infectious disease outbreaks.
